The Solicitor’s Purr

July 18, 2009 · 2 Comments

Manipulative bitch.

Science proves what cat owners have always suspected: That 6am “feed me” purr is special. Unlike regular purring, this sound incorporates a “cry” with a similar frequency to a human baby’s. Researchers suspect cats have tapped into a human bias by producing a sound that humans find very difficult to ignore.

Well, if you’d just teach her to use the can opener you might get a little extra shuteye.

….or maybe you LIKE the idea of having a “baby” in the house. It’s never too late for MORE, ya know – at least not at your age, whippersnapper. If you were to see the right MD, you might be able to give “Octomom” a run for her money! ;)

    (ACK!!!)

Well, I’d rather hear the “feed me” purr than have to try to put down the Litterbox Rebellion occurring in my house right now.
